A Modo Mio - Food

This was again a very small restaurant - but that’s most likely just to do with Auckland being tiny than anything else. The vibe in this restaurant felt a lot more genuine - it was also decorated well, with little trinkets all over which caught our attention. Our garlic bread was quite nice, but only a starter we ordered to try and cure our unfortunate sicknesses. Nicole ordered the Gnocchi, which is always touch and go but with the simple sauce it ended up being a very nice and simple meal. The portion sizes were very large as well so it was even hard to finish our meals! The Toto pizza was very nice, had a good kick of spiciness but also had some nice cheese and herbs to give it a fantastic flavour. It was served as a full piece, and we were given scissors to cut our own slice, only adding to the experience. While we were not in the best condition for this meal, we ended up being very surprised with this meal and location! What we ordered: - Garlic Bread - Gnocchi alla Sorrentina - Toto pizza Drinks: - Sprite and Coke

Overall Rating: Good
